  • 12/24/09--10:14: Comment on Home Solar Power Systems by Construction Contracts Guy (chan 1310871)
  • More and more builders are understanding that incorporating solar and other energy-efficiencies into new and exisiting construction is just plain good business. With the cost of solar going down (panels can now be manufactured for under $1 a watt!), and mainstream retailers like Lowe's making them available and affordable to the masses, solar power is gaining momentum. Our grandkids will wonder what it was like back in the olden days when we powered our lives using dinosaur juice... Thanks for a good article! Wendell

  • 03/04/10--16:15: Comment on Solar Electric Panels by Brandon - Solar Webinar (chan 1310871)
  • I agree, it is important to be educated on solar panels. I have been doing research on solar panels for over a year now and I understand why they are confusing to consumers. Solar companies need to bind together to INFORM the public about the benefits of solar. Germany and Spain did a great job, which is why they have about half of the world's photovoltaic output. The United States, thanks to our strong desire for oil and refusal to switch to renewable energy, continues to lag behind the rest of the developed world. We need to educate the American public about the short and long-term benefits of photovoltaics. freesolarwebinar.org

  • 03/04/10--16:23: Comment on Solar Classes by Solar Sales Course (chan 1310871)
  • Choosing the proper solar course is extremely important. My advice: 1. Determine what you want to do in solar. Sales, marketing, management, installation, maintenance, HR, or business owner. 2. Research courses. Ask questions to determine which course will give you the information you need with speed and clarity. You have to understand what you are learning before you can practice. 3. Budget your options. Many courses are offered online, which will save money in the long run. (transportation, lodging, food, and other travel expenses). 4. Enjoy! pvsolarsalestraining.com
